American Idol Season 11 Finale: Who’s your bet?

I am not an avid follower of American Idol but knowing a half-Filipino made it to the Top 2 and could be the first Asian American to win the prestigious American Idol title, who would not be excited right? I am so thrilled to see how the two- Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez  will do their best and eventually outshine one another.  Oh well, whatever happens, go Jessica! 😀

See and hear whose got the “it” to win the next American Idol!

Jessica Sanchez:  And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going

Phillip Phillips: Beggin’

P.S.

I envy someone who is so very dear to my heart going to Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California to watch the season finale of AI! pffttt

You are One of a Kind Mother!

I hate the way you whine every morning when brother is so lazy.

I hate it when you wear those torn shirts as your sleepwear.

I hate the way you help others when in return they will take advantage of your kindness.

I hate the way you scream or shout at us when you are mad.

I hate the way you ignore your grandchild when she is crying.

I hate the way you insinuate that you need this and that when I do not have any freaking money.

I hate it when you are demanding at times.

I hate it when you complain that you got so many clothes to laundry yet you will not accept my suggestion to bring it to the laundry shop.

I hate it when you make excuses or white lies when I let you buy something because I know you refused to do it.

I hate it when you reprimand me every time I buy thrift clothes.

These are some of  your imperfections mother that irritate or annoy me but with all  these flaws I still love it.  It is not you when you stop doing those things.  It is not you when you let go of those attitudes that irk me because through that you make yourself as one of a kind.  You are the kind of mother that I will never trade in this whole wide world because from birth you never stop showing how much you love and care for us.  You raised 4 beautiful children on your own and never surrendered the fight no matter trials or hardships come your way.  You continue striving for us until you raise us to be good.  I salute you for doing it.  Without you Mama, I do not know where we are right now.  Through you, you teach us the meaning of life and how to value it.  Although, you are tactless sometimes but hey that makes you being you.  On this very special day Mama, even though you can never read this blog because you are not a techie,  let me shout to the world that  you are one of a kind mother!  We love you so much although we are not good in expressing those words to you personally but from your 4 adorable kids, we meant every word.

Charming and Laidback Siquijor

Last  May 1,  I went to a place where it is rumored to be a place of  witches,  witch crafts, love potions, third elements,  and other related stuff.  Oh yeah, I am talking about the province of Siquijor.   Mr. Wiki said that ”  Siquijor is an island province of the Philippines located in the Central Visayas region.  Its capital is the municipality also named Siquijor.   To the northwest of Siquijor are Cebu and Negros, to the northeast is Bohol and to the south, across the Bohol Sea, is Mindanao.   In addition, it is called Isla del Fuego or the “Island of Fire” during the Spanish colonial period, Siquijor is commonly associated with mystic traditions that the island’s growing tourism industry capitalizes on.”

However, behind the mystery  of Siquijor lies a charming and laid back environment where one can explore the beautiful tourist spots of this island province.   Rumors, hearsay and other folk lore about Siquijor are not so true based on my experience because the people are so kind and hospitable plus it is blessed with sleepy atmosphere and  quaint spots.    Here are some of the shots I took during my visit to La Isla del Fuego.

Triad

At the town proper – Siquijor, Siquijor

Truly it is also more fun in Siquijor! What makes it awesome is that I went there for FREE! 😀 Thanks boss for the sponsor.  However, to those who wanted an estimated expenses in going to this island paradise, here are the breakdowns.

Room rates in Salagdoong ranges from Php1,000.00/night to Php3,000.00 wherein the air-con is fully cool, towels and bed sheets are clean plus there are free shampoos and soaps.   You need to add I think that is around Php100.00 for an extra person per room but for us we did not add any money because we just let the extra people sneak in the room. LOL Anyway, there is no tight security who will monitor every number of person in each room. LOL

**Truly Siquijor is bewitching but in a very good way!
